Job Description
The Flat Lock Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machines that sew and join fabric together in a manufacturing setting. This role requires attention to detail and knowledge of garment construction to ensure high-quality output.
Responsibilities
Operate flat lock machines to produce high-quality seams for various apparel products.
Ensure products are sewn according to specifications and quality standards.
Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to address production hurdles and optimize workflows.
Train new employees on machine operation and safety protocols.
Conduct routine inventory checks of supplies required for sewing operations.
Follow detailed instructions and technical specifications for optimal output.
Keep production area organized and compliant with safety regulations.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certificate in apparel manufacturing preferred
Experience
2+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
Proficient in operating flat lock machines

Languages
