Fire Inspector and Investigator

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Fire Inspector and Investigator to join our expert team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating fire incidents, collecting relevant evidence, and determining the cause and origin of fires. Your expertise will contribute to improving fire safety measures and preventing future incidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive fire investigations and assessments.
• Analyze fire patterns to determine the cause of incidents.
• Compile findings into detailed reports for management and regulatory authorities.
• Engage with community stakeholders to promote fire safety awareness.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate fire hazards.
• Work with other emergency services to provide a coordinated response.
• Continuously improve fire investigation methods and practices.
• Provide expert advice on compliance with fire safety regulations.
• Develop and present fire safety training sessions.
• Support the development of emergency preparedness plans.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Fire Safety, Criminal Justice, or a related field
• Advanced degree in fire science is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in fire investigation or related roles

Certifications

• Certified Fire Inspector

Languages
