Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tax Consultant to join our team in Perth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax regulations and a passion for helping clients navigate their taxation requirements. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws.

Responsibilities

• Interpret tax laws and regulations and apply them to client situations.
• Assist clients in understanding tax obligations and rights.
• Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and documentation timely.
• Conduct presentations on tax strategies at client seminars.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Utilize accounting software for tax return preparation.
• Provide expert advice on capital gains tax and GST.
• Monitor client accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Assist with tax audit preparation and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or Business Administration is desired

Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in a tax consulting role
