We are on the lookout for dedicated Cashiers to join our friendly team at The Supermarket. In this role, you will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and provide information about pricing and promotions. Responsibilities

• Efficiently process cash and card transactions.
• Ensure the checkout area is tidy and well-stocked.
• Support customers with product selection and inquiries.
• Assist in promotional setups and product displays.
• Regularly check inventory and report shortages.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of store products and services.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Work as part of a dynamic team to achieve store goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in cash handling and retail sales

Technical Skills

• POS Systems

Soft Skills

• Conflict Resolution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional language skills: Fluency in another language is a plus.
• Previous experience in grocery retail: Experience in a grocery store or supermarket environment.
