Job Description

As an Instructional Technology Site Technologist, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining instructional technology tools that enhance learning experiences. You will support faculty and students in leveraging technology effectively in the classroom, ensuring that all users can navigate educational technology with ease. This position requires great communication skills and a passion for improving educational outcomes through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the instructional technology infrastructure and ensure accessibility for all users.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot issues related to instructional tools.
  • Collaborate with academic staff to incorporate new technology into the learning experience.
  • Create comprehensive training programs to enhance staff and student proficiency with tech systems.
  • Assess and recommend updates on educational software and applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of usage and help identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workshops and seminars on best practices in educational technology.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current instructional technologies and propose changes.
  • Assist faculty in creating engaging learning materials using multimedia production tools.
  • Advise on the best practices for data handling and security measures related to educational technology.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or a related field
  • Master's degree in Education Technology is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional technology or similar roles.
