Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Power Hammer Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate power hammers to forge metal parts according to client specifications. The role involves not just operating machinery, but also maintaining it to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Forge metal components using power hammers according to specifications.
• Ensure all products meet company and client quality requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements.
• Work closely with other team members to optimise workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Document maintenance tasks and production reports.
• Follow all safety guidelines to foster a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

Experience

• Experience with blacksmithing techniques is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Welding

• Experience with CNC Machinery: Familiarity with computer numerical control machinery for precise fabrication.
