Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Yarn Sizer to join our production team. This role involves measuring and categorizing yarn according to specific standards, ensuring quality control and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise measurements of various yarn types using specialised tools.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure yarns meet production specifications.
• Document all sizing activities and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with quality control to implement corrective actions.
• Use measurement results to propose adjustments in production.
• Ensure a safe and efficient working space at all times.
• Stay updated on industry advancements in yarn sizing technology.
• Assist with maintaining yarn inventory and ordering as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Diploma in Textile Engineering preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a textile manufacturing capacity.

Languages

• English: Fluent
