We are looking for a skilled Contour Grinder to join our team. This role entails operating contour grinding machines and utilizing hand tools to shape metal components, ensuring they meet specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of precision grinding and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up grinding machines, ensuring they are ready for production.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to address any defects detected.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Train junior team members in operating machinery safely and effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
• Experience in operating other types of manufacturing machinery

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• CAD Software Proficiency
• Quality Control Procedures

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Initiative

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in relevant machinery operation: Any additional certifications in machinery operation are a plus.
