Job Description

As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Operator at WoodWorks Ltd., you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of cutting machinery. Your role involves ensuring high standards of precision and quality, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machines following company guidelines and safety protocols.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials to and from machines.
• Maintain a detailed log of production output and machine performance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualifications in carpentry or joinery preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in woodworking manufacturing is preferred

Technical Skills

• CNC Machinery Experience
• Quality Control Assessment

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Quality Control: Experience assessing and ensuring product quality throughout production.
• Forklift License: Current forklift license is a plus.
