• Set up and operate knife edging machines.
• Ensure blades are checked for integrity and sharpness.
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of sharpening equipment.
• Liaise with other departments to meet overall production quotas.
• Complete necessary documentation regarding work output.
• Resolve any problems with machinery efficiently.
• Follow all safety regulations while performing duties.
• Provide detailed reports on machine performance.
• Assist in enhancing production efficiency through feedback.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in operating knife edgers (preferred)
• Knife Edging Machinery Operation Advanced experience in operating various types of knife edging machinery.
• Quality Control Standards Understanding of quality control processes essential for manufacturing.
• Technical Specifications Reading Ability to read and implement technical specifications and guidelines.
• Attention to Detail Exceptional eye for detail crucial for ensuring quality.
• Teamwork Experience collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Problem-solving Skills Capable of troubleshooting issues that arise during operations.
• English (Fluent)

• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting: Hands-on experience with knife sharpening machines will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety regulations: Understanding of workplace safety regulations in the manufacturing sector.
