Ceramic Research Engineer

Job Description

The Ceramic Research Engineer will be responsible for conducting research and development on advanced ceramic materials for various applications. This role requires close collaboration with a team of scientists and engineers to develop and optimise ceramic materials, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments to characterise ceramic materials.
• Use computational modelling tools to predict ceramic behaviour.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders for product development.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders.
• Contribute to intellectual property development, including patents.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and clients when required.
• Comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in materials research

Languages

• English: Fluent
