Job Description

As a Rail Car Repairer with Railway Maintenance Co., you will be at the frontline of maintaining Pullman cars. This role requires a hands-on approach to repairs and regular checks, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our rail operations. Experience in automotive or rail systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections and assessments of Pullman cars.
• Document all repair activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Support the development of maintenance schedules and protocols.
• Engage in problem-solving to mitigate repairs and service issues.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies.
• Coordinate with external vendors for parts procurement.
• Contribute to team meetings focusing on safety and operational improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Automotive or equivalent experience

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in car repair and maintenance is required for this role.
