Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials to fabricate custom metal products. Ideal candidates will demonstrate substantial experience in welding, soldering, and other metalworking techniques, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform quality control checks on finished metal products.
• Participate in ongoing training to keep abreast of industry advancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with metal fabrication processes.
• Work effectively within a team to achieve project deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Associate degree in Welding or Metal Fabrication (preferred)

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in sheet metal work.

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Reading
• Machinery Maintenance

Certifications

• Welding Certificate
• Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks: Experience using CAD software to design and plan metalwork projects.
• Experience with 3D printing in metal fabrication: Knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques in metalwork.
