Job Description

As a Print Binding and Finishing Worker, you will operate and maintain cutting machines in the food manufacturing industry. Your role will involve ensuring the precision of cuts, maintaining quality, and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of cutting machinery to ensure production consistency.
• Conduct regular inspections of blades and equipment.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Report any inventory shortages or machinery issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work area and proper waste disposal.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to maximise production efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding production status.
• Assist in compliance audits by maintaining accurate logs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred.
