Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will assess credit applications, analyze customer creditworthiness, and develop risk management strategies to protect our financial interests.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports and assessments.
  • Monitor the performance of credit accounts and identify areas of concern.
  • Implement changes to credit policies based on analysis results.
  • Liaise with compliance teams to ensure adherence to financial regulations.
  • Assist in developing training materials for junior analysts.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform credit decisions.
  • Utilize financial modelling to predict future credit trends.
  • Attend relevant industry events to network and stay informed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or risk management.
