Job Description
As a Barn Worker, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations in our barn, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of our animals. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the barn and surrounding areas.
Provide proper feeding and hydration to animals.
Assist with monitoring animal health including regular check-ups.
Conduct minor repairs to fencing and fixtures.
Record any animal behavior changes and report to management.
Follow and enforce all safety and health regulations.
Help with breeding management and handling newborn animals.
Move animals as required for care or training purposes.
Engage with the public and clients, providing information and assistance.
Stay updated on best practices in animal husbandry.
Requirements
Education
Certificate in Animal Husbandry or equivalent is a plus
Experience
Experience with specific animals (horses, cows, etc.) is advantageous.
