Job Description
As a Tool Room Utility Specialist, you will ensure the effective functioning of our Tool Room. Your role will involve maintaining tools and equipment, managing inventory, and supporting production teams to meet operational needs.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment for wear and tear.
Track tool usage metrics to inform inventory levels.
Work with engineering to troubleshoot any tool-related issues.
Participate in safety audits and adhere to workplace policies.
Train new employees on tool room procedures and regulations.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives within the Tool Room.
Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance tool management.
Maintain a tidy and organized tool area to facilitate operations.
Requirements
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment is advantageous.
