Job Description

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will oversee the entire financial reporting process to ensure that all financial statements are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations. This role requires exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to various stakeholders. You'll lead a talented team, guiding them in preparing detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial reporting process to produce accurate reports and analyses.
  • Evaluate and improve financial reporting policies and procedures.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with management to align financial reporting with strategic goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify training needs within the team and arrange relevant development opportunities.
  • Review and enhance internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
  • Represent the finance department in cross-departmental projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders to explain financial results and variances.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
Experience
  • 5+ years in financial analysis or reporting, with managerial experience preferred.
