Job Description

We are seeking skilled Inspectors, Testers, Sorters, Samplers, and Weighers to ensure the precision of mechanical components in our manufacturing processes. You will work with advanced machinery and collaborate with various teams to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the condition of raw materials and final products to ensure quality is upheld.
• Setup and calibrate truing machinery prior to production runs.
• Perform statistical analyses to monitor quality trends and identify areas needing attention.
• Work closely with other technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control protocols.
• Prepare reports summarizing inspection findings and recommendations for team discussions.
• Support audits and inspections from regulatory bodies as required.
• Keep abreast of industry standards and advancements in technology and machinery.
• Engage in safety training and adhere to all workplace safety regulations.
• Actively contribute to team meetings and provide insights into quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• Demonstrated success in achieving accurate results in a high-volume manufacturing environment is highly valued.

Technical Skills

• Technical drawing interpretation
• Lean manufacturing principles knowledge

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Time management

Certifications

• Forklift license (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of various materials used in automotive engineering: Understanding of properties and characteristics of different pinion and wheel materials.
