Industrial Ecologist

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a passionate Industrial Ecologist to spearhead our environmental consulting projects. In this role, you'll lead initiatives to develop sustainable practices and collaborate with clients to address ecological challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

• Engage with government and non-government entities on environmental matters.
• Lead assessments and audits related to environmental compliance.
• Implement sustainable practices across client operations.
• Report to management on project performance and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consultancy

Technical Skills

• GIS Proficiency
• Sustainability Practices

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Planner
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Environmental Modelling Software: Familiarity with tools such as AQUATOX or similar for ecosystem modelling.
• Networking Skills: Ability to establish and maintain professional networks in the environmental sector.
