We are seeking a passionate Environmental Scientist to join our Bundaberg team. The ideal candidate will focus on ecological assessments, environmental impact studies, and supporting sustainability initiatives. You will work collaboratively with local stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote best practices in conservation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the impact of development projects on local ecosystems.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring programs and activities.
• Provide technical support in environmental compliance audits.
• Advocate for sustainable land use and resource conservation.
• Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Engage in professional development and networking in environmental science.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related discipline
• Master’s in Environmental Engineering or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental assessment and compliance

Certifications

• Lead Auditor for ISO 14001

Languages

• English: Fluent
