We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator, specifically as a Lace Mender, to join our talented team. Responsibilities

• Regularly assess and document the condition of lace garments in stock.
• Conduct specialised stitching techniques to secure lace effectively.
• Assist in the creation of guides for best practices in lace manipulation.
• Ensure repaired items are properly stored and ready for dispatch.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and improvements.
• Provide input on design changes to enhance lace durability and aesthetics.
• Train new staff in lace mending processes as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in fashion design or textiles is preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years in lace mending or closely related fields is preferable.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of sewing machine operation
