Job Description

The News Camera Person will be responsible for capturing footage and providing high-quality visual content for our news programs. The ideal candidate will monitor news feeds, operate camera equipment, and collaborate with reporters to produce compelling news stories.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality video footage for various news stories.
  • Work closely with reporters to determine necessary shots and angles.
  • Ensure all footage meets technical and quality standards.
  • Assist in the creative direction of news segments.
  • Provide suggestions for improving camera techniques and equipment.
  • Document equipment usage for maintenance scheduling.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or higher in film or television production
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in a live news capacity
