Job Description

We are seeking skilled Railroad Conductors and Yardmasters to oversee train operations, ensuring safety and efficiency. The successful candidate will coordinate train movements and maintain communication with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the safe movement of trains in designated areas.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for communications between train crews and operations.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately for each trip.
  • Implement best practices for safety and efficiency.
  • Engage with community stakeholders on railway operations.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and train safety programs.
  • Keep updated on industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Utilize technology to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Assist in developing training programs for yard staff.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in railway operations or related fields.
