We are seeking a qualified actuary to join our Coffs Harbour team. In this role, you will analyse financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain actuarial models that support decision-making processes.
• Conduct profitability analyses to determine product pricing.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports summarising actuarial results.
• Work with stakeholders to enhance data collection practices.
• Validate actuarial assumptions and methodologies to ensure accuracy.
• Engage with external auditors and regulators as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Master's degree in Actuarial Science is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant actuarial experience

Technical Skills

• Financial Modelling
• Data Analysis Tools (e.g., R, Python)

Certifications

• Certified Actuary (CA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
