Cutting Machine Fixer

Job Description

The Cutting Machine Fixer will be responsible for repairing and maintaining cutting machines in order to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency within a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and a strong understanding of cutting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cutting machines regularly and log performance data.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts procurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during maintenance activities.
• Lead training sessions for new staff on machine operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis for machine failures.
• Implement improved maintenance practices to enhance machine reliability.
• Support engineering teams in developing machine modification proposals.

Requirements

Education

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent

Experience

• Hands-on experience with CNC and laser cutting machines is a plus.

Technical Skills

• CNC machine operation
• Hydraulic system knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC cutting machines: Hands-on experience with CNC technology is desirable.
