Job Description

As a Finishing Room Supervisor, you will manage and oversee the finishing room operations to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality. You will lead a dedicated team, monitor production processes, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations in the finishing room, ensuring a well-organised workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities and quality checks.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of finishing materials.
  • Assist in troubleshooting any production-related issues that arise.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Plan and execute training sessions on new processes or equipment for staff.
  • Review and update standard operating procedures to reflect best practices.
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
