Job Description

As a Freight Forwarder, you'll manage air freight operations, ensuring smooth transportation of cargo. Your focus will be on compliance, documentation, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with air freight partners to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Prepare all necessary documentation required for shipping and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the transportation process.
• Ensure adherence to all customs regulations and laws.
• Monitor and update shipment statuses through various logistics software.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all documentation.
• Participate in logistics meetings and training.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Business is a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Transport Management Systems

• Attention to Detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Customs Brokerage Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of International Trade Regulations: Familiar with global trade laws and compliance.
