Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge in threading and turning operations, with an emphasis on producing quality metal and plastic components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes for intricate machining tasks.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Assist in the development of machining programs and processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and workshops.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining problems quickly to minimize production delays.
• Document machine setups, production runs, and maintenance procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Adhere to the company's quality management system.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical)
• Additional qualifications in CNC programming (preferred)

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
