As a Freight Flagman, you will play a crucial role in the logistics chain, directing freight trains and ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to. This is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the transportation team to schedule freight pickups and deliveries.
• Implement safety measures and conduct safety checks on equipment and operations.
• Provide real-time updates to the operations manager regarding train statuses.
• Assist in training new staff on safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency.
• Engage in regular communication with maintenance teams regarding equipment issues.
• Monitor weather conditions that may affect train operations and take preventative measures.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in transport or logistics roles is advantageous.
