Mooring Master

Job Description

As a Mooring Master, you will oversee the safe and efficient mooring and unmooring of vessels at our Sydney terminal. This critical position ensures the safety of both vessels and crew during docking operations, while coordinating with ship captains and port authorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the mooring and unmooring of vessels, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports and conduct safety assessments of mooring procedures.
• Liaise with marine pilots and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in developing training programs for the mooring crew.
• Review operational protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
