Sewing Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality boxing uniforms. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare fabric pieces according to designs.
• Sew, hem, and finish apparel items as per specifications.
• Measure and adjust sewing machine settings for different materials.
• Coordinate with designers to understand the design process.
• Receive and implement feedback on product improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in sewing or tailoring is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in sewing and garment production

• Pattern Reading
• Machine Maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Leadership experience: Experience in leading a small team or supervising other operators.
• Understanding of textile science: Knowledge of different types of threads and their uses in sewing.
