We are seeking a talented Remote Sensing Technician to join our operations team. As a UAV Pilot, you will operate unmanned aircraft systems to capture high-quality aerial data. The role involves planning and executing flights, processing data, and ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills and a keen understanding of UAV technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of UAVs for data acquisition across multiple projects.
• Ensure all flights adhere to established safety and regulatory standards.
• Utilise software tools for processing and analysing aerial data.
• Assist in developing flight plans based on project specifications.
• Provide training support for new pilots and assist with onboarding.
• Participate in safety audits and provide input for risk assessments.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects requiring aerial data solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UAV piloting with practical knowledge of aerial data collection techniques.
