Job Description

In the role of Power Distributor and Dispatcher, you will monitor and control electrical power transmission and distribution systems, ensuring a seamless and efficient delivery of electricity. You’ll work closely with power generation plants, balancing load demand with available resources whilst also responding promptly to system emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage electricity grid operations to ensure safe and reliable service.
• Implement strategies to optimise load dispatch efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade system capabilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of distribution systems.
• Prepare incident reports and evaluate response effectiveness.
• Develop predictive models for load forecasting.
• Participate in industry forums and training sessions.
• Facilitate effective communication during outages and peak demand.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor adherence to compliance regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field

Experience

• 3+ years in load dispatch operations, overseeing electricity systems
