Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects in Darwin. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage project teams, liaise with clients, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kick-off meetings and set project objectives.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Communicate project updates to clients and internal teams.
• Manage project change orders and budgets effectively.
• Ensure timely delivery of construction materials and equipment.
• Assess project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Prepare financial forecasts and manage project accounting.
• Ensure team adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Construction Management preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in construction management

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
