Car Body Designer

Job Description

As a Car Body Designer, you'll take charge of designing and developing the exterior of our vehicles. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create innovative car designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. You'll utilise your expertise in design software to ensure that all projects adhere to safety, functionality, and cost requirements.

Responsibilities

• Sketch and render vehicle designs.
• Refine design concepts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for production.
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams for manufacturability.
• Keep abreast of emerging design trends and technologies.
• Ensure designs are compliant with regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Industrial Design or related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with lightweight materials such as carbon fibre and aluminium

Technical Skills

• Adobe Photoshop
• Microsoft Office Suite

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with 3D printing technology: Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing technologies for prototyping.
