Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Core Layer Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery, ensuring smooth operations and quality production.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular quality control checks on produced items.
  • Adjust machine parameters for best output quality.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance teams.
  • Assist in the development of operating procedures.
  • Participate in continuous training for skill enhancement.
  • Help implement best practices for machine operation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
  • Maintain an organized work environment.
  • Support the production lead in various tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or similar qualification
  • Valid forklift license (desirable)
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
