Job Description

As an Environmental Economist, you will play a pivotal role in researching and forecasting energy trends. You'll develop economic models and collaborate with diverse partners to ensure compliance with energy regulations while promoting better energy practices.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current energy pricing models and propose enhancements.
  • Create and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Participate in project management for energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Assess risks associated with energy projects, including market volatility.
  • Present findings to management and stakeholders in an easily digestible format.
  • Implement software tools for data analysis and forecasting.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead research projects and represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
  • Ph.D. in Energy Economics is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in energy market analysis or energy consultancy
