Home Health Aide

Job Description

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides essential personal and support services to elderly or disabled individuals in their homes. You will work closely with clients and their families to ensure that they receive tailored care and assistance to maintain their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with medication reminders and health management.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily routines for improved dignity.
• Facilitate social interaction and encourage client participation in activities.
• Perform light yard work or gardening as necessary.
• Develop and maintain supportive relationships with clients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Individual Support

Experience

• Experience working with clients who have disabilities or chronic conditions is a plus.

• Basic First Aid

Certifications

• Advanced First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Other languages: Basic
