Job Description

As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities. You will develop tailored education plans and provide guidance to teachers and families, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and provide appropriate diagnoses for learning challenges.
• Implement and monitor the effectiveness of IEPs.
• Offer emotional and behavioral support to students.
• Work in tandem with a multidisciplinary team for holistic student support.
• Facilitate training sessions on mental health awareness for staff.
• Keep thorough documentation of all interventions and progress.
• Engage in community outreach to maintain relationships with families.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional conduct.
• Assist in crisis intervention strategies as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology
• Relevant certifications in Child Psychology preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in early intervention or school setting preferred
