Job Description

As a Range Manager, you will oversee natural resource management projects, focusing on sustainability and conservation. This role involves developing strategies to effectively manage land, water, and wildlife resources and working collaboratively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and identify opportunities for conservation.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans.
• Provide technical guidance on compliance with environmental regulations.
• Coordinate field activities including vegetation surveys and habitat restoration.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Stay informed of current environmental regulations and best practices.
• Lead workshops and community education initiatives on sustainable land management.
• Analyse data to inform management decisions and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects.
• Prepare and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Natural Resource Management is a distinct advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in natural resource management or environmental consultancy.
