Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Loom Fixer Supervisor to lead the operation and maintenance of looms in our textile manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will supervise a team of loom fixers, ensuring optimal operation and resolving technical issues swiftly.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of loom maintenance and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Lead a team of loom fixers, assigning tasks and supervising their work.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, motivating team members and enhancing skill sets.
  • Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with production quality and safety standards.
  • Develop training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
  • Liaise with other departments to streamline maintenance processes.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in loom fixing or relevant field preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a supervisory capacity
