Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Agent to manage our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for quality, ensuring that we secure the best products at competitive prices.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
• Coordinate with internal functions to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
• Track procurement metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead initiatives for sustainable procurement practices.
• Participate in audits and assessments of supplier quality.
• Engage in market benchmarking to advance procurement strategies.
• Review and approve purchase orders based on business needs.
• Prepare reports for senior management on procurement performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the construction or related industry.
