Service Vehicle Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Service Vehicle Operator to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining service vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of goods and equipment, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive service vehicles as required, ensuring compliance with all laws.
• Conduct routine maintenance to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Document delivery and vehicle maintenance records promptly.
• Assist in warehouse operations as necessary.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
• Interact positively with clients and team members.
• Perform regular safety checks and report any issues promptly.
• Help load and unload items securely.
• Stay flexible and adapt to changing schedules and routes.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Australian driver's licence (Class C or higher)
• Completion of Certificate III in Driving Operations or equivalent
• First Aid Certificate

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Heavy vehicle operation
• Navigation skills

• Organisational skills
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local road conditions: Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
• Customer service experience: Experience in a customer-facing role will be an advantage.
