Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will support Speech-Language Pathologists in the assessment and treatment of clients with communication difficulties. You will play a vital role in delivering therapy and implementing treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologists in evaluating clients' speech and language abilities.
  • Conduct individual or group therapy sessions based on clients' needs.
  • Implement and adapt treatment plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Regularly monitor clients' progress and communicate findings to the therapy team.
  • Keep up to date with the latest techniques and tools in speech therapy.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant or in a related role
