Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a range of medical conditions, from acute to chronic illnesses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
• Maintain a detailed record of patient treatments and progress.
• Educate patients about lifestyle changes to improve their health outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with specialists for integrated patient care.
• Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the medical setting.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)

Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an Internist in a clinical setting

• Excellent clinical skills
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Certifications

• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia

Languages

• English: Fluent
