Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients' medical histories and current condition.
• Create and implement patient care plans based on assessment findings.
• Administer vaccinations and manage wound care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and recovery.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals for a holistic approach.
• Participate in research and clinical audits as appropriate.
• Be an advocate for patients' rights and wellbeing.
• Assist with training new staff and mentorship of junior nurses.
• Stay updated on best practices and recent developments in nursing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
• Advanced diploma in Nursing preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of nursing experience, particularly in acute care settings

Certifications

• Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
