Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to identify needs.
  • Design and implement targeted intervention strategies.
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and school staff regarding mental health issues.
  • Monitor and support students’ emotional and social development.
  • Facilitate support groups for students facing similar challenges.
  • Collaborate with community agencies to support student needs.
  • Advise on best practices for promoting positive mental health in schools.
  • Develop training materials for staff and parents on mental health topics.
  • Participate in research initiatives to improve psychological practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
  • AHPRA registered Psychologist
Experience
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a school setting
