Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Prepress Technician who will be responsible for setting up and maintaining machinery in our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure machinery operates optimally and meets quality standards, with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and operate machinery for optimal production output.
• Implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
• Identify training needs for junior staff and provide guidance.
• Maintain inventory of necessary tools and materials.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Analyze production data to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain standards.
• Report on any issues affecting production output to supervisors.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Manufacturing or related field
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is an advantage

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in machinery operation and maintenance
