Job Description

As a Molder, Shaper, and Caster at MetalWorks Australia, you'll be pivotal in our manufacturing team. Your primary responsibility will include operating sophisticated casting machinery to create top-notch metal products. You'll also be ensuring that our production processes meet stringent quality standards, while maintaining optimal efficiency throughout.

Responsibilities

• Utilize casting machinery to create high-quality metal products.
• Perform machine maintenance to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Execute mold preparation in accordance with specifications.
• Continuously monitor production parameters for efficiency.
• Inspect and assess finished components for adherence to quality standards.
• Engage in trimming and finishing tasks to ensure product excellence.
• Implement safety measures and maintain a clean environment.
• Document production output and process changes accurately.
• Work closely with team members to optimise casting workflows.
• Address production issues swiftly through troubleshooting.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering or related field
• Relevant trade qualification preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in metal casting or related field.
